7th Annual Woodpecker Festival

The paved Paul Henry-Thornapple Trail follows the Thornapple River.  This area has an established population of the rare Red-Headed Woodpecker as well as all the other five Eastern US woodpeckers.  In previous Festivals, we have seen over 60 species of birds.

Directions:  Festival activities are at the Village of Middleville Hall, 100 E. Main St., Middleville, MI, 49333.   Middleville is 11.3 miles south of the M-6 Exit 15 on M-37.  or 124 miles east of Wayland exit 64 on US 131.
